Bulletin 44: "Celebrate what you want to see more of."

Hey there,

It's a new year (and that was a quote from Tom Peters)!! With that, if you don't already have a relationship with those in public office, I strongly encourage you to contact your representatives, old or new, just to say happy new year, and make your presence known.

Now, more than ever, it's crucial for the arts to be a part of the conversation, every conversation, ANY conversation. And it's easier to do that if we have established relationships with our legislators, so that we can be involved and engaged from the start, and not just after the fact. So take 10 minutes sometime in the next week to send an email or two and introduce yourself. Don't know where to start, use AFTA's Arts Action Center.

Here's what's going on this month:

*APAP | NYC
*EALS Benefit Reception
*The Arts of Taxes

*Present Happenings
*Ephemeral Happenings
*Future Happenings
