Hey everyone,
So we've got a slightly revamped format, one that will continue to encourage you to read these bulletins, as well as streamline the content presented. Not much as changed with what's Happening, excepted I've added Fundraisers to the potential ones, which have up until now just included auditions.
The bulletin subjects have gotten rid of what has been the Captain Obvious in me (in that they won't say "bulletin", or what number it is), and simply mention the items of interest that kick-off each "issue". So with that, here's bulletin 46.5:
*Japan benefit seeking venue, artists, organizers
*Artspace Wash DC Info Session
*24th Nancy Hanks Lecture
*Potential Happenings
*Present Happenings
*Ephemeral Happenings
*Future Happening

DC Japan performance/art benefit - seeking venue, artists, organizers!
"As news pours in from the Tohoku earthquake/tsunami and its compounding effects, my heart and mind cannot help but be with the country that has shaped me for so many years…I set off to college to study computer graphics. I ended up being a Japanese Language and Literature major. The performance art of Japan bewitched me, made me its own, and took me on a journey that included working at Tokyo Broadcasting System and at the Takarazuka Revue." - DC PAL Zehra Fazal
Follow the link [above] for the rest of the note, and please contact Zehra if you would be interested in contributing in any way.

Keep an eye out for some revamps to our tweets, as we continue to rethink and explore our social media strategy. Which reminds me, if/when you message me about an event you're in, and you're also on Twitter, definitely let me know what your name is so that we can mention you in relevant tweets.
Any other ideas or suggestions for social media tools and initiatives that would be useful to you, don't hesitate to message me and we will certainly consider them. And, no…that is no longer a royal "we" as DC PAL welcomes and thanks its first Content Assistant, Eamonn Foley.
Have a safe, fun St. Patty's day/weekend,
JR
